>Fate of Atlantis was praised by critics and received several awards for best adventure game of the year. The two partners are pursued by the Nazis who seek to use the power of Atlantis for warfare, and serve as the adventure's antagonists. Sophia Hapgood, an old co-worker of Indiana Jones who gave up her archaeological career to become a psychic, supports him along the journey. >The plot is set in the fictional Indiana Jones universe and revolves around the eponymous protagonist's global search for the legendary sunken city of Atlantis. It features three unique paths to select, influencing story development, gameplay and puzzles. The seventh game to use the script language SCUMM, Fate of Atlantis has the player explore environments and interact with objects and characters by using commands constructed with predetermined verbs. > Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is a point-and-click adventure game by LucasArts originally released in 1992. If you haven't played it, or if you are familiar with it and want to play it again, I've put the links to it down below! If you aren't familiar with it, you're missing out on something truly wonderful. This game is still the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the word "Atlantis," and it remains the best DOS game and the best Indiana Jones game I've ever played. * Just a note, you can't emulate Pajama Sam 4: Life Is Rough When You Lose Your Stuff! or Putt-Putt 7 this way because they don't use Scumm and if a game isn't working on a platform, it might not be supported the DS version of ScummVM, for example, doesn't support any Humongous Entertainment games. Then just open ScummVM on Android (or your hacked Wii or PS2, or a variety of other platforms), browse for the files, and there you go! You control the game either by tapping the screen, or there's an option to use the screen like a laptop trackpad to move around a cursor. So if I were to install the DRM-free version of Putt-Putt and Fatty Bear's Activity Pack, I'd navigate to "C:\Games\Humongous Entertainment\Putt-Putt and Fatty Bear's Activity Pack" and copy these files over to their own folder: You could copy the whole directory if you want, but it usually includes ~40 MB of files you don't need, so I'd recommend checking this page on the ScummVM wiki that tells you the data files you actually need to copy (you have the Windows version, not DOS or Macintosh or Windows Demo). It copies the essential files Scumm needs, as well as a few extra things (manuals, help files, ScummVM config files, etc.- Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files ). If you have the games installed in a non-default location, you can put the script there and run it, or you can run the script and you'll be prompted to input the directory name. Just double-click it and go! It will check for the 33 Humongous Entertainment games on Steam that use Scumm, as well as their respective DRM-free versions from that Humble Bundle (there are only 26 of those, because reasons). If you bought the Humongous Flash Bundle that happened like a year ago and would like to play them on Android, you could just download and install the DRM-free installers or Steam versions, copy the game files to a phone/tablet, and emulate them with ScummVM, which is almost certainly what the Android versions in this bundle are doing.ĮDIT: I made a script that will copy the files for you.
